IMAX Cinemas provide the worlds most impressive experience, allowing audiences to feel part of the on-screen entertainment. IMAX Corporation, Canada invented and developed the first large format motion picture system. The development of IMAX started with EXPO '67 in Montreal, Canada. There are 225 IMAX Cinemas operating in 26 countries.
Today, Adlabs - India's premier Motion Picture Processing laboratory has set up India's first and the World's largest IMAX Dome Cinema along with 4 conventional cinemas. Adlabs has always set new standards and kept abreast of the new technologies for picture projection quality and have now brought to India and Indian audiences a World Class Cinema Experience like never before. The IMAX Dome Cinema has a seating capacity of 520 persons while the
conventional Cinemas have a total capacity of 1225 seats.
The films viewed on the IMAX Dome screen are 45-50 minutes long with 10 shows a day.
